Andrew Kelmanson

At Yenching Academy, Andrew plans to deepen his understanding of China's political economy and explore how the country has built one of the world's fastest-growing biotechnology industries. He is eager to learn directly from Chinese policymakers, scholars, scientists, and industry leaders; He also looks forward to improving his Mandarin and visiting all of China’s provinces. Long-term, Andrew is committed to bridging the U.S.-China divide in biotechnology, encouraging investment and innovation collaboration between the two countries in hope of curing pressing diseases.
