Divya Ganesan
During the Schwarzman Scholars program, Divya plans to study the governance of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on how digital and physical infrastructure is built, regulated, and scaled through public–private partnerships. At Stanford, her academic work and applied projects sat at the intersection of technology and national security, including research on AI security and hands-on engagement with technology startups operating alongside government institutions. Building on this foundation, Divya wants to better understand how China approaches state capacity, infrastructure development, and technological deployment at scale. Her long-term career goal is to work at the nexus of technology, policy, and leadership, helping governments and companies responsibly build critical infrastructure that shapes economic competitiveness and security. The Schwarzman experience directly advances these goals by grounding her technical and policy background in global perspective, cross-sector leadership training, and firsthand exposure to China’s governance model.
