About the Banyan Impact Fellowship

Administered by the American India Foundation (AIF), the Banyan Impact Fellowship (formerly: the William J. Clinton Fellowship for Service in India) is a program for young change makers ready to partner with communities in India to make an impact. The program pairs a select number of highly skilled young professionals with leading NGOs and social enterprises in India in order to accelerate impact and strengthen civil society through effective projects that are replicable, scalable, and sustainable. 

In 10 months of service and fieldwork, fellows will gain knowledge of development on the ground in the fields of education, livelihoods, public health, and social enterprise while forming dynamic partnerships with development sector leaders.

The AIF Banyan Impact Fellowship does not have a campus process. The national deadline is typically in January/February. We encourage you to begin your application early.
